You Shall Surely Die!

If you knew you would soon die, what you would do differently? Why not seek God’s grace to change today?

Death is not a normal part of life to which we should resign ourselves. Instead, it is a sign of God's anger at us for our sins. Though we would prefer not to think about death, we can gain a great deal of wisdom by contemplating about the brevity of life, the certainty of death, and the eternity of God who governs both life and death. The reality of death shatters all our illusions of pride and independence and reminds us of God's absolute control over us and his anger against sin.
